Sewing Projects

Here's some stuff I've been working on...I sewed a pair of pants and a hoodie. I am working on another pair of pants but they are not done yet. The front buttons are a little ghetto, I didnt have two of the same and I have just never taken the time to sew on two matching buttons yet.

2009!

Ach, my first post of 2009. We weren't able to get together with Jen and Kevin for New Years, like we normally do, but it was still okay. My birthday was the 5th and I got the cutest pea-coat...which I am still waiting for because it is coming in the mail. (it was back ordered). Dallas started a computer class at UVU this semester. He is thinking he might want to learn how to be a programmer.
I am taking several classes that require lots of "outside the classroom" work, so it will be fun, but time consuming. And today is my sister Shonnee's birthday, so Happy Birthday Shonnee!

christmas

My parents gave me a Swiss Army knife for christmas and I got it etched at work ( I work in the mall doing laser etching engravings). Its hard to tell what it is but trust me... its pretty cool. I got my name on one side and a viney swirly design on the other.

Dallas's parents got this puppy last month (yes its a puppy!) His name is Chewy, short for Chubaca, and he is an irish wolfhound. He is so big, and is going to get even bigger, he is only a few months old still. He is so nice though, a real sweetheart.

We finally got a Christmas tree! Dallas's parents have some property by Ogden and we went up there and cut one down. It smells so nice...and we didn't get one last year to its exciting!

A Fun Hike

This from the top of a trail that starts near the entrance to Red Butte Gardens. It was a tough hike but the view was worth it.
